Divisional Manager

Job Description:

As a Divisional Manager at Prayas Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing and managing operations in your assigned division. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and guidance to the team within your division, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
2. Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, including loan disbursements, collections, portfolio management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Business Development: Identify and explore opportunities to expand the company’s reach and increase its market share within the assigned division.
4. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as borrowers, community leaders, and local authorities, to enhance the company’s reputation and facilitate smooth operations.
5. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with lending activities, ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures, and minimizing default rates.
6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, track progress, and take proactive measures to address any deviations or challenges.
7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on divisional performance, including loan disbursements, collections, portfolio quality, and other relevant metrics, for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be considered for the position of Divisional Manager at Prayas Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Divisional Manager in the Microfinance Industry.
• Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, including loan disbursements, collections, and portfolio management.

• Sound understanding of risk management principles and practices.
• Good business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
