Role Description:
As an “Engg Quality Assurance” professional, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Developing the Quality Strategy at the project and department levels.
- Planning and executing Quality activities aligned with the Project Quality Strategy.
- Conducting process and work product reviews, and reporting compliance status.
- Providing regular updates on Project Quality Status to the Project and Management teams.
- Performing Quality Gate (QG) reviews and providing recommendations for progressing to the next QG.
- Participating in Product Release reviews/audits, ensuring compliance, and making recommendations for release.
- Identifying project-specific tailoring needs in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Required Skills:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in performing Engineering Quality Assurance activities.
- Ability to handle Project Quality Assurance activities independently.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO2626262, Cybersecurity, FMEA, and iatf16949.
- Familiarity with Automotive SPICE. Certification as a Certified Provisional Assessor is a plus.
- Experience working on automotive engineering projects.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and Key Process Indicators.
- Understanding of system, hardware, and software engineering.
- Proficiency in metrics analysis and relevant tools.
- Detailed knowledge of quality, problem resolution, configuration, change, and requirement management tools.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills.
- Strong command of business English.
